WebP: Google new image format for the Web

WebP is the new image format with lossy compression created by google. Google created as an alternative to JPEG and PNG , with 25–34% better compression compared to JPEG images .The new image format WebP also support for transparency – also known as alpha channel – in both the lossless and lossy modes.
With these new modes, you can now use WebP to compress all types of images on the web. You can use Photographic images smaller file size. Icons and graphics can be encoded better in WebP lossless mode than in PNG. WebP lossy with alpha can be used to create transparent images with smaller in file size. Mozilla Firefox 8 arrived with new 6 features

Now Mozilla has released the latest version of Firefox for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. In this version mainly 6 features are there.
Built-in Twitter search
Disables add-ons
Cross-origin resource sharing.
Faster:  Firefox 8 to be faster than previous versions with improved support for HTML5 and WebGL.
